Geometallurgy & Mineralogy
Our geometallurgy experts guide you through a series of steps to increase your ore body knowledge and reduce your risk.
Geometallurgy and Integrated Extraction Consulting
JKTech offers geometallurgical services and the GeoMet® system to proactively improve mining process effectiveness and risk management. Together with our strategic partner, QG, we have formed an alliance to provide our clients with fully integrated geometallurgical services. Complementing JK Tech’s technical expertise in resource development, QG provides specialised geostatistical, geological, resource estimation, reserve conversion and scenario-based project evaluation.
Geometallurgical Testing
JKTech offers a suite of geometallurgical tests, including the GeM series of tests, for the characterisation of processing performance attributes for larger numbers of samples with smaller volumes than traditional metallurgical tests. These tests can be used within the GeoMet® system to allow for the predictive quantification of mining process responses across the ore deposit.
Geometallurgy Professional Development
JKTech offers a 2 day course for managers and senior professionals which will provide an overview on how geometallurgy can increase the value of a project or operation via increased knowledge of the behaviour of geological materials from an extraction process perspective. The course builds upon the latest research from the AMIRA P843 GEMIII “Geometallurgical Mapping & Mine Modelling” and Cooperative Research Centre for Optimising Resource Extraction (CRC ORE). It is focused on practical aspects of application and implementation management and future directions of geometallurgy.
