What are the presenters’ backgrounds?
Professional development and training are presented by specialists from JKTech, SMI centres and/or by nationally and internationally recognised industry professionals. Each presenter has an in-depth understanding of the subject and has theoretical knowledge as well as having applied practical application through extensive field work.

What is included in the registration?
Registration includes a set of course/workshop notes, Leading Practice Sustainable Development handbooks in hardcopy or on CD, and provision of morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea each day. Specific training and events may also include field trips, transportation, networking events, welcome events, and course/workshop dinners.

What is the cancellation policy?
SMI Knowledge Transfer reserves the right to cancel any course at its discretion. Whilst we endeavour to make every effort not to do this, there could be circumstances beyond our control (e.g. insufficient numbers) that may prevent us from going ahead. In light of this, if you need to fly, we suggest that you purchase a fully flexible airline ticket. Delegates cancellations 14-8 days before course commencement incur an administration fee of $110. The full registration fee is payable for cancellations 7 days or less before course commencement or non-attendance at the course. Substitutions accepted when advised.

Where and when are professional development and training courses held?
Professional development and training courses are typically held between the months of February – November. A majority are based Australia-wide, with a few internationally located courses/workshops; a number of JKTech courses will be available online in the near future. Popular training courses/workshops may be held more than once per year in different locations. Please refer to our Training Calendar for more information.
