JKTech can perform batch flotation testing to customer specified test conditions.

Outcomes from such a test include: determination of parameters for flotation modelling; optimisation of flotation conditions; ranking evalutation of flotation responses of different parts of orebody; assisting in process selection for greenfield projects, and evaluation of flotation chemicals.

The usual equipment employed for this type of testing are the JK bottom driven batch flotation machines with 5 litre and 2.5 litre cells.  However other equipment is also available - contact JKTech for details.

All associated laboratory equipment to complement batch flotation testing is available: crushers; screens; rotary and riffle dividers; batch grinding mills; test sieves; pH and Eh meters; pressure and vacuum filters and drying ovens.

A wide range of reporting requirements can be specified, from delivery of raw results for the client to interpret to full analysis and interpretation by JKTech consultants. Please discuss your requirements with our Laboratory Services Manager.

Sample Requirements

Sample requirements are dependent on test objectives and the flotation equipment being used.  Typical small scale batch tests consume 1 or 2 kg of material per test.
