Rolf joined the MLA group at JKTech as a Mineralogy Specialist in January 2006 and took on the role of MLA Operations Manager in September 2008 until the sale of the MLA business unit in June 2009.

His 15 years of experience with mineral processing and automated mineralogy in the global minerals industry started with his PhD on mineral liberation modelling at the University of Queensland and continued through to iron ore breakage studies with CSIRO Minerals and then potash processing applications with K+S AG in Germany.

Rolf is currently involved in the commercialisation of JKTech’s newest breakage characterisation tool, the JK Rotary Breakage Tester (JKRBT).
