Marcin graduated from the Australian National University, Canberra, in 1995 having completed two degrees; one in Systems Engineering and another in Computer Science. 

Immediately after graduating, Marcin joined Accenture, where he worked for several years in management consulting and IT, until embarking on a doctoral degree in minerals processing at the JKMRC. 

In 2002 Marcin worked in complex systems modelling at University of Queensland's School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, before joining the department of Mining and Minerals Process Engineering as a lecturer and researcher in 2003 where he taught minerals processing for over three years during which time he initiated minerals industry energy reduction research.

Marcin joined JKTech in mid 2006 as a flotation specialist, bringing to the role  his rich experience in management, efficiency analysis and modelling.
