Operations Manager

Dan Alexander graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree (honours) in chemical engineering. After graduation, he worked as a metallurgist at the WMC Ltd Kambalda Nickel and Mt Magnet Gold operations.
From 1995 to 1997 he moved to the JKMRC where he undertook a PhD in flotation modelling and continued this project on a part-time basis until its completion in 2007. In 1997, he re-joined WMC Ltd as the technical superintendent of the Kambalda Nickel Operations where he managed several technical projects. In 2000, Dan joined JKTech, specialising in flotation modelling. He has developed steady state models of many flotation plants both in Australia and across the world.
Since 2005, Dan has undertaken the role of Operations Manager for JKTech. As part of this role, he leads a strong team in the areas of comminution, flotation and production accounting consulting services, training services, laboratory services and software sales.
