Ben Steyn graduated from Potchefstroom University in South Africa in 2002 with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering.
After graduation he worked as a Metallurgical Engineer at Mintek, South Africa, where he managed various pilot runs, plant survey campaigns and plant optimisation studies. He has also developed steady state models of many plants, mainly in Africa.
Ben has managed various research endeavours, which involved SAG mill modelling, fine particle milling and HPGR technology. He has also been involved in supervising final year design projects at Potchefstroom University.
In 2006, Ben joined JKTech where he is currently specialising in comminution circuit optimisation and design. |
